1. Bring back the old shortcuts and right clicks, make them open minimal new inventory system windows at that locations destination ... (no sidebar minimal size, hell how about remember the size of each buttons last window size when it was clicked!). a. Item Button opens new inventory window b. Cargo / Fuel / Drones bay buttons in right click and button, open by standard a no-sidebar window that jumps directly to the corresponding area. c. Corp Hanger, opens the Item Window but jumps to the corp hanger tab and shows hanger 1's content to start. d. SHIPS BUTTON IN NEOCOM.... Jump to as if you clicked on the ships tree and shows the list of ships, without the treeview shown......
2. Move POS weapons to a sub folder thats closed by standard when on grid.
3. FIX THE REMEMBERING OF WINDOWS for Docked/Undocked states, and there location/size and what tab they were at, as well as whether sidebar was visible or not.
DO THESE 3 THINGS and make So Many people happy!!!!!!!!!!!
This would allow EVERYONE to have the old style of working, but with the new functionality available EVERYWHERE....
if you want to go 1 step forward, make it eventually so we can add neocom shortcuts to special parts of the item manager, like if i want to drag a corp hanger 3 to my neocom and have it open my corp hanger 3 in a popup minimilist window it would that would be nice...
BUT FIX THE FIRST THINGS FIRST |

and theres some bugs but its by no means "unuseable" |

and as was said previously, DIDNT CCP PROMISE ON SISI, that for TQ, Inventory would remember the d*mn state of docked and undocked inventory windows, to not have to readjust for a docked state and undocked state!?!?!?!?!? |

We understand you want things to be accessible, HOWEVER besides having neocom buttons createable, and making the fix for the open cargo to actual open ONLY CARGO.... YOu need to reconsider this
I get the fact the new Inventory system is sexy and works, but the fact is a large majority of players like the right click shortcut, and i would recommend making it a shortcut, even if eventually it becomes an unused shortcut because people adapt to the new methods, thats not a reason to just drop the shortcuts from right click menu where everyone is used to them, people want the shortcuts they want there ship button, they want there fuel button....
There shortcuts for a reason they get us there quickly, the new inventory is truely sexy, and if you guys do get to adding universal search as was shown at the fanfest pictures it'll be even more awesome...
But don't just refuse to put the shortcuts in the right menu because your trying to make things more visible, make them more visible ... BUT LEAVE THE TRIED AND TRUE METHODS, that a large majority of players like, especially in something as oft used as the inventory, i dont see how the drone/cargo/fuel/corp hanger links in right click were so bad it was the perfect spot if you ask me.
Please reconsider, as you'll be surprised how many that annoyance is causing, i mean seriously people complaining about more clicks will be so much happier with the shortcuts back. |

Dude its 1 window, i mean honestly if u're in the cap and wanna see fuel, and your corp hanger open them side by side...
wanna refuel, drag fuel from corp hanger to either the new fuel window you opened iwth shift+click or just drag it to the fuel tree menu and drop it, or if you want to see it dropping hold for a second over fuel, and THEN youll see the fuel bay.
They already said the fix for the remembering window position is in the works to come out soon...

- When transferring objects between ships or the hangar, as expected it is very annoying if you try to use a single window: I just tried to transfer some ammo and had to try it twice because I was lost between 2 ships of same type and was unsure where I put them. So you finally have to either check all ships, or frenzy shift-click these and hope that you won't close them by accident (like I often do since the new Neocom system).
Not-UI related remarks:
- There's not only the login proxy's which is at heavy load, seems like the local and the chans are out of sync for some players of my corp.
The ship list is there, click where it says ships and you get your ship icons,
If you want the old ship list back go into ESC menu and turn off the "combine ships and items" crap that they turned on with this release for some reason....
Fully agree with you on the f*cking streamlining of the right click menu and them removing the stuff we need to leave crap we dont |

Ok guys its not unuseable give it a rest it needs some tweaks, it needs some missing features like remembering where windows where, and the shortcuts to sections and right click shortcuts back for gods sake, but its not unsubscribe unuseable for gods sake its been out for less than a day, ccp always has a ****** patch day and fixes most of the small annoying clusterf*cks the following day or 2 |
